I was flying from Atlanta to McArthur Field on Long Island and had to get through the JFK airspace and contacted JFK approach and was politely requested to slow my speech down. I told the controller, "I never thought I would hear a New Yorker tell a Mississippian to slow his speech down".

He just chuckled.

So maybe YA'LL might have a case.
