<How can you say from one side of your face you support lower energy costs then from the other you support the stand of this administration against mining(even Western cleaner burning) coal and support reduced domestic exploration of oil & gas?>

Richard, I don't claim to be a moral purist, like you. I don't have to support every policy initiative of the Clinton/Gore Administration in order to vote for them. There are certain things about Clinton/Gore I don't like.

You claim to be Pro Choice and not a fan of the "Moral Majority," yet you are voting for Bush who has sold out to the "Moral Majority." Have I called you a supporter of the "Moral Majority?"

<How far do you support taxing Americans to provide an energy subsidy for Europe & Japan?>

It is a global economy, Richard. Although I'm a moderate who doesn't want to eliminate the public responsibility of Gov't, as some radical conservatives do, I'm not a big fan of taxes. We know how Clinton paid for many of his social programs: by cutting the Military Budget pretty drastically. I'm in favor of a moderate increase in defense spending. The Problem, of course, is how do you pay for all these programs?
