Why is it only liberals say it is important to read a paper every day? Maybe we should listen to news/talk radio every day instead. <gg> I don't watch local TV, either.

flapjack, if you think about it one problem the democrats have is there is no people with true leadership qualities. They possess manipulative skills but not leadership skills. I also don't think they have vision. I don't know if it is possible for them to get the right kind of people because those who think long term and for the good of all wouldn't buy into the democratic value system. Good leadership wouldn't buy in to manipulating and conning the poor and keeping them in a submissive, enslaved role. Take education, Gore thinks nothing of depriving you of the opportunity to choose the best education for your child while he sends his to the very best, most elite private school. A good leader doesn't want a double standard of prescribing one avenue for you while he takes the elite road for himself. Gore is telling you to eat cake. He thinks he can lie to you and you will buy in because he promises you a bunch of BS that he knows you want to hear. In private, he is contemptuous of you and those like you. Bush could have sent his daughters to any school with his clout and money. He sent them to public schools. Isn't that a lot more down to earth. Gore is anything but a common man. He will use you but he doesn't respect you and he won't call you tomorrow either.
