Even Carl Bernstein thinks so. I read an article a couple of days ago about remarks he made at Bowdoin College where he said the media is turning into a circus and a freak show. I think he had in mind mostly TV, but I can't remember exactly. I've just been all over the web looking for it but I can't find it. This site is fun to visit if you like keeping up with the inside baseball of the news business.
