Hi richard surckla; Re: "One thing the poster left out with his garden hose explanation..." Wow! I hadn't thought of thinking of engineering using a garden house analogy! Suddenly the scales have left my eyes! All those years spent manipulating gates, drawing timing diagrams, working out pipelining stage diagrams, wasted! I could have picked up an understanding of the technology by simply standing in my backyard, and playing with the garden hose! Wow, what a waste, all that time I spent studying engineering. I should be selling insurance, and you should be the one designing next year's technology. -- Carl
