You *had IE 5.5. Now you have IE 5.51. --- Not to be outdone, I just used open standard UNIX 'sort' on my American Standard Code for Information Interchange bookmark file and alphabetized MY bookmarks. --- The difference is, I can change *mine BACK! <g> -JCJ

Charles:

I....know what you did wrong, and I......know how to fix it,

But I'm......not telling you,..... nah, nah, na, nah-nah!!!

:))))

[at this point I'd rather have the issue. <g>]

I had Microsoft IE 5.5 do something bizarre a few minutes ago. I've been using my sister's machine all week to access the Internet while I visit her. It's an almost new HP with strictly "stock" Microsoft software and all "critical" updates applied. A few minutes ago the "Favorites" pulldown suddenly, for no apparent reason, became inaccessible. The only way I could get it back was by exiting IE and restarting it. When I did, all the "Favorites" were alphabetized for the first time!
Must be a feature. Random alphabetization.

ROTFLMAO.
