That's not home ownership. Everyone thinks they're rich when they're driving around in Toyota Motor Credit's luxury SUV. It's like the David Byrne song. You're living in someone else's house, driving someone else's car, and so on...

By the way, Toyota warned for the whole year tonight due to Euro.

Haim,

re the American Dream Check this out, how about a 1% down payment?

This today, found on a mortgage originator wire service,

Interest rates have dropped below 7.75% for 30 year conventional products this past week for the first time in over six months.

Also, House lawmakers passed a bill last week designed to make it easier and cheaper for teachers, police officers and other civil servants to purchase homes with the assistance of the Federal Housing Administration.

The bill will allow these civil servants to purchase a home with only 1% down and will defer the FHA insurance premium. The senate is expected to vote on this bill sometime late Fall and the new President is expected to sign it. Once law, this mortgage program should open up new opportunities for your buyer clients.
