Hi Jill: CAtech first put me on EXTR. I checked it out, loved it's chart, followed it a couple weeks, then chased it for a couple of weeks while I tried to nickel and dime an entry (got greedy), and finally got in awhile back.

EXTR's chart was what I liked most. Look at it going back to June. Lots of strength.

JNPR I never really followed closely. It never was on my radar list, as I call it, consequently, I never gave it much thought. I know of it. Had read a lot about it but when looking at its chart periodically and what I was hearing about it, well, it never struck my fancy. Not sure I can really tell you why.

I'm an odd duck perhaps, because I purposely do not look at a bunch of stocks as you may know. I focus on a select few and often let some high fliers just go by. JNPR was one of them I sort of never really got bit by.

Sort of a gee whiz scratch my head answer I know, but that's it.

RR

JNPR has been priced for 2006 value for some time
might be fully valued, but still room to run some
surely Juniper Networks has enjoyed plenty of notice
its splash was 1998-99
recognized as having locked the highend and secured it at the expense of Cisco

EXTR is only now getting recognition
from what I read on growth and product superiority, gonna be in the news as a newcomer ultragrowth stock for several more months
wondering personally how much EXTR cuts into Juniper's mktshare ?????

just my primitive thoughts
