Attention whiners. The great thing about being an American or a Canadian is that it gives you the God-given right to buy a three-tonne sports utility vehicle that can't make it to the Loblaws without a fill-up, then bitch about gas prices. SUV owners will happily fork out $4 for a double-latte with sprinkles at Starbucks. They will buy designer water that's more expensive than cheap wine. But when gas goes up a dime or two, it's the end of the world. Wasn't American blood spilled in the Gulf to keep prices down? Sure it was, so why not invade Saudi Arabia? ...
