I feel like I'm "stuck" over here, and a big piece of me is still over there - sitting on a park bench in the Jardin de Luxembourg, watching the little kids play - the bells of Saint Sulpice ringing in the distance. { sigh } WTH am I doing over here, anyway? Am I still an American? I feel like a tourist. Was I ever European? My values are so different: competition, self-reliance, etc. Do all ex-patriots go through this? If half of me is here, and the other half over there - how will I ever feel "whole" again ? ACK ! -Steve
