ROLF. So many dif gov agencies, you get bashed no matter what!

And when all the gov bureaucrats finish pulling the arms out of the sockets with their tug of war, the citizen's groups set that oil company up for the lawsuit. Ah yes, the benefits of bigger and bigger government. "We're here to help", lol.

No wonder RIG moved to the Caymen Islands. My guess is many more O&G and service companies will follow.

Big US oil firms have been steadily reducing their presence in our domestic industry for many years. And from what I can tell, these reductions go beyond what can be accounted for simply by the decline in the potential for oil discoveries here. A significant factor has to be the long running "cold war" between politically powerful liberal/left groups and the oil and gas industry. And that war has turned much warmer as we approach this election.

Maybe James Davidson & Sir William Fees-Mogg did get at least one thing right. In the next 10-20 yrs perhaps there will be a huge exodus of the productive elements of the American economy to escape any increasingly self-serving and predatory government.

You can't fight city hall forever.
