"""""Philosophy is love of learning- if you think learning clouds the truth than there is nothing I can say to that. Exposure to the truths of others, especially through art, gives you the closest glimpse of the personal reality of another that you will ever get. The realization that realities differ, that one perspective is not the only perspective, strikes me as a great gift. I see no benefit to a closed mind. Ignorance holds no attraction for me, but of course I realize that tastes differ"""""

Too often this learning is so purely academic that it serves no purpose but to make conversations that have no valuable ending. No benefit other than the occupying of time for those with no better function at the moment. I have been surrounded by philosophers most of my life. They converse superbly, they function at half speed and to the man/women have never done a thing productive for anybody but themselves for decades.

I'll pass on this, too.

Just passing through here for the first time, but WOW, from your post it seems like you're tripping on something pretty strong.

Are you alright? Should we call a medic?
