IMHO the proposed SPR release has given us another buying op. Another "tree" like OPEC's ambiguity, has taken people's focus off of the forest. I'm reloading some PDE, DO, and FLC. Strange, but I'm actually hoping for a significant overreaction in crude to give us more "deals" in the patch. BigBull, this might be your chance to catch the train, which seems to be backing into the station here.

Have sold about 1/2 of gold shares because of disappointment with non response to Euro pumping by G7.

Good luck all. Winkman

I know how a shrewd politician could easily be elected president. Many are going to vote for Bush, who aren't impressed by him in the least, just to keep Gore out of position. All Someone has to do is get their name on the ballot and then change their name. To what you ask?

Winky/OT. Right wing extremist republican? ROFL!

Have voted Dem as often as Rep since getting the franchise. AND during the past 2 elections have voted Libertarian, not Rep. Sorry bout that<G>.

As for the SPR release being good for our nation? Good for WHO in our nation? Good for Gore/Clinton? Sure, for the VERY ST. Maybe get Gore elected? Are you saying that's good for the nation? Surely you jest, Winkman.

Is it good for the oil industry AND YOUR INVESTMENTS to elect someone that almost everybody on this thread agrees supports a radical, anti-oil, environmentalist agenda? Look at what Gore himself is saying, Winkman. He continually inflames public opinion against the companies YOU are investing in! Is that good?

What America needs is a stronger domestic oil and NG industry. Not a campaign of disinformation, lies and flaky environmental roadblocks from a political demagogue who's done is best make the most important remaining areas of our country off limits for exploration!

If that's your "more realistic/rational view", of what's good for our country, I think I'll pass.

Nothing personal. Just think you missed the mark by a wide margin with your post.
