Living in the past? Hardly, I simply understand that our cleanburning low sulphur coal of the west is a valid source of energy and for this administration to fight all mining is wrong to the miners & destructive to the energy situation of our nation. I also understand the fastest route to a lower level of energy imports is to allow exploration here in the US.

Hate to break this to you, but NC machinist for an oil patch company or ag eqpt. company(old economy) or mining eqpt., company is really a far better job than with far beter than pulling & shipping books for AMZN, so don't give me the "You're stuck in the past" tripe. I've worked for both type companies I know the truth.

While I'm shaking your very foundation of belief, there are many people that would far rather mine(these days a higher tech job) or explore for petroleum or machine raw metal into a tight tolerance finished product than design a web sight.

Since you don't know this, I well know your ivory tower eastern life is out of touch with the "common man" you claim know. How long it been since you were in a machine shop or worked with a thumper crew or been a tool pusher?

While we're off topic, did you know tourism money from big game hunting is a big source of income for the Rocky Mountain states? Were you aware the total gun ban hype coming from the extreme left is costing Gore votes?

Army officers say they're 'not having fun anymore'
By Rowan Scarborough
THE WASHINGTON TIMES

More than two-thirds of officers in a survey sample agreed with the statement "I see no possibility for continued job satisfaction in the Army."
"Job satisfaction is down across the officer corps," says the Army report, which has not yet been presented to Gen. Eric Shinseki, the Army chief of staff. "Optempo [operational tempo, meaning the frequency of missions], micromanagement and not adhering to training doctrine are the major factors causing job dissatisfaction among the officer corps."
"Many officers look at their superiors and note that they are not (cont)

Life is Beautiful

Unless your dollar is the euro and your native currency was worth more before on conversion to US than it is now since you converted euro then convert euro US, costly trade.

Actually it becomes why in the h-- didn't i just buy the US dollar to begin with and then it becomes whoops US is inflated etc etc etc.
Of course we can always buy the Rand how low can it go when the Swiss are not too sure just how many new International Accounts they want.

i sit here thinking Bush and Gore are fighting about oil costs after the rest of the world has been caught up to their necks in inflation.

Whoops the Arabs bail the dollar and ?????????? Sadam starts a war.

Life is interesting the movie life is beautiful should of been titled some people are beautiful. One of us people namely me is starting to feel like a frustrated jerk due to Nasdq wobble wobble .
