Lebed's Central Issue:

The LebedApologists™ here obscure the key point using other analysts, the First Amendment, other posters, and lack of DD as rationalizations. The central issue is succinctly distilled into this point: Knowingly lying to others for the specific purpose of enriching one's self, leaving the victim poorer is wrong.

With the Lebed case, we have a failure on the parent's part to impart a sense of ethics to their children. We have adults here, in fact, encouraging the idea that kids don't need to learn moral principles. That&#151perhaps they should cover their tracks better, but it's actually okay to victimize others for the sole purpose of self-enrichment.
