SNDK sales into the cell phone market are meager at best

True, but IMHO because its very early days, very few handsets have the capability as yet. Once handsets are out there with a slot to put memory in, then MMC cards will be used to enable applications such as email, short message and MP3. (I'm speaking from a European perspective here where SMS and email on phones are really booming). The amount of memory on mobile phones isn't up to the job once you start using SMS or email in earnest. So an extra 8 or 16Mb to store your messages becomes an obvious first enhancement to your handset.

I've probably missed the Strataflash announcements. Do they have wins with mobile handset vendors? Obviously that is key.
