Carl,
Any revision of your estimates on the arrival of DDR systems?

Bilow... As a foreigner, a non-citizen and an outsider to the USA, why do you spend so much time bashing a US company, like Rambus? Just curious.

Bilow... I just received a e-mail that said there are a lot of foreigners to the USA that post here. Well I know that and there should be. My question was not a put down to foreigners of the USA. but rather why you as a foreigner to the USA spend so much time bashing a US company like Rambus? Hell when I post on a thread in Canada then I'm the foreigner there.

Bilow,
During the recent analyst meeting it was said that new validation of 288Mb parts was taking place at very fast speed compared to 128Mb validation parts. The point was that the RMBS partners have now fully understood the design process and are able to very quickly validate and go into production of new parts. RDRAM is maturing very well.

Here are the relevant slides:

Also yields of PC800 will reach close to 90-95 by Q1-Q2 2001 (Samsung's numbers showed 80% PC800 yields and 98% overall yields by this December). Overall yields we are near the 98% by December, heading for 100% by Q1 2001. All these moves again bode very well for further RDRAM price reductions.

<<Hi mishedlo; Re "Is there a RIMM other than perhaps MU's that is not qualified? If not, I suggest RDRAM has an easier time because of a single spec." I've concluded that you are ineducable on this subject. You don't really want to know how engineers design to standards, both how they are designing now to DDR standards or how they designed in the past to (very successful) SDRAM standards. What you want to know is why RMBS will continue to increase in price.>>

I try being civil and this is the SHIT I get from you every god damn time. LOL
I want to know why RMBS will either increase OR decrease in price you moron. - Back to treating you like you treat me.

At least Scumbria answers my questions in a Civil manner.
I have been out of RMBS for weeks at a time and have posted as such.

And I still do not know the answer to my question.
I can assume from your refusal to answer a SIMPLE QUESTION FOR SOMEONE OF YOUR OBVIOUS GENIOUS, that indeed all the RIMMs for RMBS except for possibly MUs work because of a single design spec that somehow MU can not get right.
