The Mr. doom & gloom George Cole is back with another belly-aching bleeding-heart article.

Good luck George :0)

Hi George! Great to see you back. I bet many members of the thread are glad as well. So what's the story?

Is it time to shoot some goldfish in the barrel? Sentiment seems to have reached extreme levels of pessimism on the XAU.

How about this dip in the oilers? You buyin' in yet?

I've joined you in the bear camp on stocks. The earnings comparisons are going to be as Slider would say - impossible. Certainly not good enough to justify a 29 pe on the S&P.

US dollar getting a wee bit toppy here?

re: "With nearly half the vehicles on the road getting 12-13 mpg, and with booming economic times, is it any wonder gas prices are sky high? "

The author does NOT know what he is talking about. Very few consumer vehicles get such poor mileage, maybe 1 in 20 vehicles on the road in the city, and 1 in 100 on the highway. The only vehicles that get that poor a mileage are very high end sports cars from Europe and trucke with 6.0+ liter gasoline engines.

George. Glad to see you back. Couple of questions:

Would like to know your outlook on the patch stocks, oil and NG. Whatever you feel like sharing. ST, IT or LT on the commodities, OSX, XNG, XOI, etc.

Last time I read you on the Market Direction Thread, awhile back, you were friendly to gold. Maybe you've noticed<g>, there are a few here who've become interested in that area recently. Your thoughts.

TIA

Isopatch
