To think of the conditions of fear, distrust, ignorance and such domination that men lived in those far away times , makes the accomplishment and sacrifice of such ones extremely worth much time and reflection. We live comparatively in our times , in a warm, pampered , indoor bubble bath....<ggg> Such gifts to humanity by Wise and learned men , who gave so much of themselves in defense of truth and wisdom...striving in themselves to know more and impart teachings in so often the harshest conditions . Jesus especially led a such a life . His sacrifice in the name of love, one of the greatest pictures of the depth of love, tolerance and compassion. too bad we are so slow to learn. ;-( Mars
