Scumbria, having started this little diversion, I have to point out that Anand has a new link up, overclock.digiweb.com , with the text THAT is a heatsink? Looks to me like a prototype US black project fighter engine...

Personally, I'd say the appropriate analogy seems to be a nuclear plant cooling tower. The picture in the above link exaggerates things a bit, if you look at the other thermaltake heatsinks at thermaltake.com it turns out that the Willy heatsink is the same diameter as their cumine products and only 33% taller, 61mm vs. 45mm. Though somewhat oddly, that last link lists the Willy product as good up to 1.2 ghz, apparently limiting its market somewhat.
