Floyd/OT Very perceptive and thoughtful post. Agree with you. Probably wreck my image as an oilman and investor, but truth is my undergrad major was History/Philosophy. More precisely the history ideas and culture (such as it is<G>). So that's why I agree with you well made points. There is always the possibility which I take it you are implying that Gore will suddenly turn practical, stop demonizing and instead do what our country needs to have done. That is give our private oil and gas industry (the envy of the world BTW) the mandate to do what does best. Explore and develop new domestic oil and NG production and reserves. And what do we really need to accomplish that? Floyd, the lines have been drawn between his radical environmentalist constituency and the US petroleum industry. Will he open ANWAR and key coastal US areas to the drillbit? Do you really think he'd make that kind of 360 degree turn against his faction of supporters? Listen, I'd be the first to apologize for misjudging the man if that were to happen! But at this point, excuse my jaded attitude in saying "I'm from Missouri". Isopatch
