Limtex,

Best Buy offer for one week only - Casio 3.3 Mgpxl 3x zoom with 340MB IBM microdrive - $799.99

I have looked at that camera and it usually carries a $999.99 price tag. This is a clear example that packaging a digital camera with storage media significantly adds to the OEM cost and makes the product less appealing at the consumer level. Other problems might include, but are not limited to Casio's lack of brand recognition in photography circles, or even camcorder circles. Sony, Canon, Kodak, Olympus and Nikon have side-stepped this problem.

The bottom line is that IBM doesn't even seem to be able to give away the microdrive.
