As far as processing power, it is slower clock for clock but we don't know how much. It runs Linux very well though. Fujitsu is a top tier but Sony, Compaq and IBM have already signed on as well. Since notebooks aren't cheap and Transmeta chips are, I would say it will be a success. Besides, CPU power in a laptop is way overrated... Jim
