I don't see how you can make that statement. Except for the Intel benchmarks heavily oriented to SSE, the Athlon/PC1600 pretty much beat the PIII/i815E which beat the PIII/i820.

Of course what we really need to see is a PIII/DDR chip set to make an apples to apples.
BTW, I agree that you reported the IDC numbers for work stations accurately.

The Athlon DDR system beat the Athlon PC133 system on all of the benchmarks.

The Athlon DDR system beat the PIII PC133 system on 7 out of 11 benchmarks. The other 4 were due to the fact that the PIII runs them faster than the Athlon.

Your assertion that PC133 is faster than DDR is absurd from either an empirical or a theoretical point of view. Is the problem here a lack of veracity or a lack of comprehension?
