Winkman. Not a bad idea. Hope you make another bundle on them.

We've both had a great year so far. Hope we can hang onto the largesse this super run in the patch has given us.

OT/ But per my prev post, Winkman? Not belittling you via your handle. Folks shorten and make variations on my handle here and on Yahoo all the time and I've no problem with it.
Even been called Iceman on the HGT thread, lol. Wish it were true. Keeping a cool head sure is important to investing for the best results.

Fact is, "Winky" was one of the few abbrev I could come up with and get my 1st line on the thread table title page.

So don't jump to negative conclusions. And don't jump to conclusions about my politics. Am conservative, yes. But "a right wing extremist"? That may be a little negative spin from you, my friend.

Heck, I could more accurately and fairly say that "moderate" Republican as you term yourself is what used to be called "liberal Republican" or closet liberal democrat<g>. And since you already state your are a "strong" environmentalist and will vote for Gore, that might be a characterization of your politics that many people would agree with.

Don't really have time during a biz day to be as OT as on weekends so will only argue one other point you expressed.

You said Gore would be "good for the country"? Even though I agree GW is a lightweight, my main requirement is that a president do as little damage as possible<G>. So my only reason for voting for GW (if I don't go Libertarian) will be that I see him a distinct lessor of evils<g>.

Am not a person who puts a lot of emphasis on politicians "helping me". Just let me help myself by not taxing, over-regulating (with looney environmental enforcement) while bashing and flaming the private sector.

If that looks like extreme right wing stuff to you, then I'd say YOU are a bit further to the left than you care to admit, Winkman.

But I'll give you the last word if you feel you need it. I invest for a living and have got to get to work with a little more on topic exchanges and off board work.

Best of luck with your drillers. Hope you do well with them.

Cheers

Isopatch

Go Gore.....Its good to see other people view politics in a more broad way than just personal profit. I've made substantial profits in the oils this year and hope to make more. But when Bush said in January that he did not think there were any children in Texas who were hungry, his disconnect with a large segment of the population totally disqualifies him for leadership. How can Chaney ever excuse voting again Headstart and against sanctions against South Africa(although our civil rights record is deplorable too)
