Had the same problem. Service went out for a few minutes and I did a complete reboot and got out relatively unscathed. I have seen this before and used it as my impetus to sell.

I have been seeing regular power outages here in Tucson, Arizona.. on Friday the power went out from around 3:00 to past 4:00 eastern time... so anybody wishing to trade in my area would have been offline for the last hour of the market.. and the friday close...

Been wondering about these new frequent power outages

This could be why, from Briefing:

British airplane that was conducting an air raid in the north of the
country with a surface-to-air missile. (Reuters)

Rande, I didn't really have problems as far as my cable service, but Etrade definitely started having problems right at that time, most notably the trading screen.

Something really stinks on Wall Street right now.

Fidelity Powerstreet out; then cable modem out shortly afterward, during that approximate time period.

I would never have considered it part of a conspiracy if you had not posted. Now I'm truly wondering ... I think I'm going to decide to become paranoid, starting now.

(I rarely post on SI any longer, but frequently lurk on your excellent thread ... Thanks to you and your gang for all the fine work you do).
