Hi Kids-

From the Stockhouse board:

Also in the oil patch, the board of directors of Talisman [T.TLM] met on Wednesday in Aberdeen, Scotland, headquarters of the company's North Sea operations. One broker thinks the board will announce a buyback to boost the share's price (the company currently has an ongoing normal course issuer bid for 5% of the stock). Shares of Talisman closed at $51.80 on Friday, showing a decline for the fourth day in a row.

Looks like the market has decided that high oil prices are going to cause a recession, leading to lower oil prices, so you better not own any oil stocks:

AEC $58.40 -$2.30, down from 52 wk high of $67.50
CXY $37.85 -$2.05, down from 52 wk high of $45.20
PCA $31.15 -$1.35, down from 52 wk high of $35.80.

Geez I hate this market.
