Steve - GBT
Canadian (I know some good Canadian companies) traded on the AMEX (ouch, that is bad),
"April 06 - Global Light Telecom. (GBT) 16: PaineWebber initiates with a BUY and price target of $30. As CMGI and ICG are to Internet investing and The Associated Group was to wireless communications, Global Light will increasingly become to the international telecommunications marketplace." (Briefing com)
1- Who is Pain WEBer? Must have build a huge stockpile before the Apr slump.Tssss, speaking of sell-side analysts,...
2- "Yet another CMGI", PW couldn't have it's hands on ?
3- This happened in a very dark period in which some companies announced major partnerships with European companies. Remember, I already posted this, the fate European Internet and communications companies is in the hands of the "financiers" and other barrons (or state owned and subsidized). Few have a chance to succeed (if any) if they don't account for this.
4- PW owns a pack of shares, of a co which owns a pack of GBT, via... see the name Mexico,... Ouuuuuch!
