AMD should sky rocket at the Sept end of window dressing. Many mutual fund FY ends in Sept. There are lots of accumulation today. iw.thomsoninvest.net

Chic, Re: Like I suggested this morning, the smart money is pouring into AMD. Does that include your (additional) money? ;-) Strong finish today: A 200,000 shares block at the close and constant buying since the morning. While Intel and the SOX are down 5% AMD is up 4%. Let's hope these gains are sustainable ... my main concern is the SOX which made a new six month closing low today and could face some additional selling pressure in the coming days and weeks. Chic, could be wrong but I don't think I am. What AMD did today was fill the gap by opening at the top and selling down all day off that open(actually a very common thing on downgaps). AMD is reacting to an oversold condition... MY OPINION(so take it with a grain of salt) is that AMD will see 22 before it sees 29. FWIW Monty
