So Kumar is saying that Intel is a LIAR...?
Evidence supports Intel not Kumar. Dell, Compaq, Infineon, reports of waning Intel sales in Europe, support Intels claim. Still the question arises, if Intel is capacity restrained why weren't European allocations shifted to the U.S.A. and Asia?

given the magnitude of the rev downturn, it simply doesn't make horse sense that the problem can be confined to europe--unless there were ZERO sales there. On the other hand, as another poster pointed out, certainly intc wouldn't deceive. I saw Kumar on cnbc--there was no mistaking his view that this reflects a global downturn. someone is wrong.

another view is while unit sales remain strong, intc has had to cut their costs to fit inside sub $1000 pcs. here again, this is not something that can be confined to europe

Hi LTK007,

Nothing in my post contradicts that.

His report referred to two aspects, ST + LT, not just one aspect.

You're stating his ST opinion.

I'm a LT investor and I'm in agreement with (what I believe to be) his comments pertaining to the LT outlook. I didn't say I agreed, or disagreed, with his comments on the ST outlook.

Regards,
