Hi Dave B; You are suggesting that it is hypocritical to distinguish between a company announcement of a fact, and a press article announcing that fact, while at the same time being willing to report press articles. This is a moronic dilemma. Let's suppose *you* have to make that choice. Here it is, choose (a) or (b): (a) You are going to equate company announcements with rumors and industry articles. That means that you will have to believe everything awful that has ever been said about Rambus. (b) You are going to not report anything except official company announcements. That means that this thread doesn't have anything to report, as all the DDR benchmarks, and the vast majority of RDRAM news, for instance, are not from official company announcements. I choose to not restrict myself to the simplistic alternatives that your accusation of hypocrisy would limit me to. Instead, I will continue to distinguish between company announcements and Jack Robertson columns, but at the same time, I will continue to post links to Jack Robertson columns. -- Carl P.S.
