Well, first of all, Bush does not even have the power of pardon as governor of Texas. He can only issue 30 day stays. But that is not even the point. There is nothing contradictory in executing the guilty and protecting the innocent........

Only 140? Hell, they need to execute ALL of the scum who murdered INNOCENT VICTIMS in that state. The good citizens of Texas need to give the governor MORE power to accelerate executions of murdering scum.
