Rob, <Put most of my money in companies which I know well>, I think I take this line from Rex Dwyer, he used to be a regular here in SI when he's still a design manager in a high tech firm here in the valley, now he's a senior analyst with Firsthand Fund(his boss is Kelvin Landis).
We've many similar picks the last few years, that's how we met. My problem has been don't know WHEN TO SELL. Rex is much better than me in this regard, I think he has a few 10 baggers the last two years. Me, I'm too excited when my stocks double and can't wait to cash in. :)))
I think both Rex and I missed to pick up BRCM at its IPO day because it shoot up so much, even though we both talked and praised it highly. Rex even started the Broadcom thread. I didn't buy BRCM since then, because it never becomes cheap to me. :)))
