in the very near term i also think the Euro's not apt to make the grade as a reserve currency...but in the long term it will. once Britain and the remaining hold-outs are incorporated in the Euro area the Euro-zone will be the largest common currency area in terms of economic output...by which time the Euro will be increasingly used as a counterbalance to existing frizzlebun reserves.
