Its interesting to me that if a house that is worth $200,000 is on sale for $60,000 everyone rushes to buy it. But a telecom stock that is worth at least $20 can hardly find takers at $6. It occurs to me that the Bestel situation should be very easy to solve. I will contact investor relations tomorrow to find out if I can be compensated if I propose a solution to them that they find acceptable.

Hopefully the company will also take a serious look at eliminating the GBT/HGP double holding company.

I really don't see what purpose Highpoint serves. It trades on a foreign exchange, trades very thinly, and is selling for a lousy five bucks. If you apply a holding company discount to both companies, Highpoint's properties are worth very little to a holder of GBT stock. Plus it creates another level of taxation.

It would be simple to fold Highpoint into GBT on a tax-free basis. GBT would then have a direct interest in all the European stuff, as well as Bestel.
