Gore is leading Bush in Illinois by something like 12 percentage points. WGN-Chicago Tribune poll late last week noted that Gore is ahead in the city of Chicago, in all the burbs except the real rich ones and, amazingly, downstate as well. Too early to declare a winner in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida. Although my best guess is that Ohio will go GOP and the other two Democratic. Still too early, though. Haven't even had one debate yet.
