This is the same data as the previous post, but this time
it is sorted by PE/G. ASYT is still in 2nd place in this
sort. It also took a 7 percent loss today. Somebody out
there doesn't like this stock - no way, no how!!

BRKS and PRIA were down "big time" for some reason.

Wouldn't PRIA be down more because of the Intel news? Aren't they a big customer?

Hi Don,

I must admit that the overheated run-up of semi equip stocks in late 99 and early 2000 was a blow-off.I had expected a correction with a second leg that would complete the distribution of the strong hands ( those who had bot in the depths of 98's trough in business).I have been in 80%cash since February and quite frankly did not expect an opportunity to repurchase at these great values this soon.

I say that now - but I always buy back in too soon. I tell myself "you must wait until bllod is in the streets".But at these prices value has certainly re-entered the market.

Is it reasonable to expect that book value is now the next entry point or should one hold out for the ridiculous (cash value). I remember ASYT selling at a presplit 5 !!! and Cohu at a presplit 12!!! I also remember these companies having no order banks and the sector was officially declared dead money. With order banks high and expansion plans being implemented the shoe just isn't fitting well.

Actually I'm getting excited about the value because it is relatively good - not a no brainer like before - but none the less it is GOOD value. I think???

I look at the blow-off tops that were put in and it seems way too soon for a serious bottom to have been put in here.It also seems like way too deep a correction to expect a second wind or leg to miraculously bounce up out of this stock sector price decay. (Mr Market is known to surprise at times)

Still the sector's robustness remains arguably intact.

Does anyone out there have a cure for my vertigo?

My only game plan is don't over commit - keep some powder dry - but taste the value and begin reaccumulation. Not a complete jump in the water - just a drink.

The blood's not on the street yet ( I'm waiting for a vix spike and capitualtion - I remember that too ).Maybe this blowoff top has one heck of a price to be paid by all who don't like cash?

What say ye guru's? I've got an open mind! I think? HEHEHE

Bob
