Bvsn and Vign have been very frustrating to own. Bill is even understating managements
bullishness. They seemed very perplexed to me about the share price since business has been
and continues to be very strong.

Eugene,

Thank you for this input. I have been reading the press release from VIGN regularly and based on that, business appears to be robust. BVSN is a small position for me so I do not pay as close attnetion but I was looking today and see they have a lot going for them too.

My first thought on VIGN was there may have been a lock-up. There were more insiders sales recently than usual. I do not attribute that to lack of confidence in the company by the insiders.

I am a little more market focused here compared to normal this time of year. I see a problem on the retail side near term due to fear by the middle income group to which I sell about energy prices. Wal-mart confirmed my suspicions today.

My portfolio has more fixed income securities this year compared to ever in the past. I plan on leaving those alone so to buy as much stock as I would like, I am 20% on margin. Today's saving stock was PHCM.

My profile is now accurate as to my holding excluding fixed income assets.

I see a lot of tern on this thread from people that typically do not turn that often meaning not day traders. I do not know if they are confused or it is just me<G> I have found that I do better by choosing firms in which I believe and then holding through good and bad. Errors on my end I noticed was VERT in that I never believed strongly in the firm but I did not sell it when it was going down. I am trying to be more diciplined in my cutting losses. My vost basis for BVSN is good. I am a fair amount underwater with VIGN now. I have a nice gain in PHCM and typically would sell before I make enough money. I am not going to do that this time<G>

I looked at AMCC today but had no more buying power that would still leave me comfortable on the amount of margin I am carrying.

Thank you very much for your input.

I could add an entire list of stocks to add to these.<g>

I use to feel I was a long term investor...but this market makes it hard to not be a short term position trader. I have a feeling that the market is due for a rebound. Maybe tomorrow or by Friday?!?

I think I read somewhere that many of the brokerage companies were receiving phone calls from some of their long time clients who didn't really "understand" the markets...and these clients wanted to know who "misplaced" their money, since their accounts had dramatically gone down in value. .....Some of these brokerages better get ready to "staff" the phone lines!

Unless we have a fairly good market "turn around", the government better stop talking about how they are going to spend "the surplus" money they've received. They'll need to start "gearing up" to send out refund checks for those of us who have been paying estimated taxes based on last years income!!!
