NucTrader, trapdoor/chop trading in the mkt is War Games, no doubt about it, imo. And good for you and the financial management of you ass ets. I too have had my 401k in the money mkt fund for quite a spell, tho I was bullish around laborday, I quickly when back to money mkt funds. Meanwhile I listen to my peers at work complain about the losses they have incurred since spring, these are losses above the money they put in every week. The mkt giveth and taketh. So even with my trading account, it's mostly in cash every night cuz one just doesn't know in this mkt. Cash is King, plain and simple.

But are things about to change??? We are coming upon end of month, and beginning of the month, both favorable for the most part, and then the favorable season (atleast that's the way it usually is from ending of oct-mar), and prez elections are coming upon us, all bullish, so our money COULD be better off invested in the mkt instead of cash. Keep an open mind...

Thanks for the thoughts, now I need to pump out some work for my boss...LOL
