Well AMD gapped down Friday morning and moved up but not to the low price of Thursday. That created a FALLING WINDOW. Today it gapped up at the open to the top of that window and closed it(within 3/16 of a point-close enough).

The gap I have been referring to is the UPGAP (RISING WINDOW) that was created on 3/6/00.

Two completely different gaps going in different directions.
