Saw a deal on A&E about a shooting. The sheriff hired the guy out of Montana for a lawyer. They called in the legendary Bill Jordan, hell, about 75 now, with a gun strapped on. Gave a .45 to one of the bailiffs, loaded with blanks and cocked. Jordan drew and fired before the bailiff could pull the trigger. When asked, Jordan said the sheriff was a little quicker than he was. The sheriff was an old fart too. But quick, maybe that is how he lived so long.
