Mag, As of Friday's close lots of stuff on the S&P was set up for a good move up. That there was not shows a very high degree of skepticism in the market. A failed buy signal is more than just the failure of a buy signal. It's a sell signal. The market's been extremely choppy all year and very few signals have panned out but if this recent sell signal doesn't revert into just another whipsaw very soon...I'll go into serious bear mode with ya. The 2 most important lines at this point for the 13 dRSI system on the S&P are at the crossroads and the tendency is leaning heavily downward. From the start date for the system at the indicator low on 8/10/99...go to 1/28/00 (line 4) and another to 4/14/00 (line 5). "Yikes" is in play. Line 1 anchor is 1/4/00 Line 2 is 9/28/99 Line 3 is 5/10/00 Doug R PS...Bruce...if you wanna put these on your site...be my guest.
