Visorphone--Handspring's GSM Palmphone

This looks pretty cool, but I guess I don't get the advantage of paying an extra 299 bucks over the cost of the Visor ($150-250). ("Visor handheld sold separately")

The last cellphone I bought cost me negative $70 ($70 rebate from AirTouch for a QCP-860) so I don't think I will rush out to pay $450 for a cellphone.

Plus, I could see where one would want to carry fewer devices, but why mush the cellphone and the palm os device? Frequently, you talk on one and look at the other. I would think a better device would be turning your cellphone into the modem for your Palm device for those instances you want to grab your email. Kyocera has a gizmo to hook the QCP-860 to either the Palm V and Palm III, but I am uncertain about the current speed of that contraption.
