"Sun is all about open standards"?? When is Java going to a standards committee? Sun had to pay for the technology behind Project Cascade. Sun had to pay for technology in the E10000 as you so astutely pointed out: "You know, after thinking about this E10000 glitch some more, I think this stuff all explains *why Sun was able to buy the Cray technology from SGI so cheap. --- It just goes to show you, you get what you pay for. <g> -JCJ" Sun overpays for Cobalt, to get into the Linux Server appliance Biz they had been dismissing (until the recent Cobalt purchase). Admit it, Sun is not innovating these days they are marketing. But of course you will vehemently deny this, as it would be saying that they've become like Microsoft...
