COMPX breaking down on acclerating volume. Looking for test of 3620. Hopefully for a double bottom. Lack of breadth is really worrisome. More stocks breaking down as worry spreads. Not catalyst to reverse the breakdown till more stocks report. Economic number early next month might give a brief pop, but I do not look for a turn around till after MSFT reports so the players have greater visibility on the earnings in the sectors. CSCO, INTC and MSFT continue to be on the defensive. No sustained rally is possible without them.
"Tech-Heavy Nasdaq fell 52 points to close at 3689. The technology leaders like CSCO, INTC, SUNW have broken their key support levels and pushed Nasdaq into the red. Nasdaq is trading with negative momentum in a descending triangle. Nasdaq may test its recent low of 3616. If Nasdaq does not hold this support level, it could see August lows of 3504. Nasdaq's resistance is near 3800."
