You can send a SMS message to ANY digital cellphone from your computer. Just go to ecompare.com, type in the phone number and message. It's free. Problem is that anybody you send the message to has no idea of what an sms is so when their phone beeps they check their voice mail instead of their text mail. I had to call everybody I sent an sms to and tell them how to get the message I sent. Sort of defeated the whole purpose.
