Although my father is in a cul- de- sac, rather than next to a busy road, he has a lot which is disproportionately small, and it really bugs me. The answer is, of course, that it would have cost him twice as much to have gotten the size of lot required........

We have clusters of those showing up. I was told it was because people who bought those huge homes spent most of their time at work or out socializing and didn't have time for a large yard.
