What I am saying is that the Federal government has to oversee the states so that there is no discrimination, no unequal treatment and no exclusion of minorities.....It's not a perfect system but it's the best we have. Sure there is enormous waste in the fed budget, but there is a lot of waste in the state and local govts too. With regulatory agencies, there is atleast some oversight of potentially harmful drugs, pollutants, and other toxic waste that could harm the public.
