David... did I say that state govt were less corrupt than Federal government??

NO!!...

What I said was that when corruption is at a local level, people will eventually protest against it more readily than they will corruption on a national scale..

Corruption at the state level is more personal, and thus.., more offensive to the people who live in that state..

As for conservative and usually poorer rural folks in Pennsylvania being asked to subsidize the liberal, generally more prosperous urban population, can you provide a rationale for this??

People move to cities because they are generally more jobs available there (at least higher paying ones) than exist in the rural regions......

Maybe it's because they are sick of throwing good money after bad, as well as tired of liberals who think they have a right to spend other people's money with impunity, positive results be damned....

Regards,

Ron

let's get voucher's so we can get the kids out of Philly schools and into the rural schools if they choose. How about eliminating a realestate tax and go to income tax for schools. Isn't this under consideration in Pa.? I believe the state does send money into Philly to support the school system.
