It is not true. It is just as true as priests in US are involved in pedephilia or homosexuality in united states. Which means you are making generalization based on few cases. India history and culture is one of the ancient ones with so many positive traditions maintained till this day. OTOH, we also have seen gelling of many social evils where some men mistreat their wives for not bringing enough dowry. Our judicial system provides for such battered women with a due process but in some cases (like in Texas), it gets subverted as our law enforcement is not as effective as it is over here. (No wonder you guys fear FBI)

Now who is for giving more guns to kids? Raise your hands. Two young men were shot at the Carter C. Woodson Middle school right before noon today. The two victims were taken to Charity Hospital where they are undergoing surgery at this moment. According to a student eyewitness, two young people got into a fight, with one of them getting a black eye. According to the student, the hurt young man returned to the school with a gun where he fired a shot . The witness says the injured young man was able to wrest the gun away from the other and fired back. Parents of students at the school have streamed to the scene to take their children home. Angry and visibly upset, some of the parents have railed against the lack of security. Others broke down into tears as they waited to claim their children. Woodson Middle was the scene recently of unrest with fights breaking out between groups of rival students. Stay tuned to Eyewitness News and WWL-TV.com for the latest on the story
